Let us celebrate your next birthday with a party at Maxi-Jazz Dance Studio! Your fun-filled celebration starts off with dancing and games. You’ll learn a custom choreographed routine you can take home and dance with your friends long after the party is over.
With two different party packages to choose from, we customize each child’s party from theme choice, dance genre and more.
All parents are expected to do is send out provided birthday invitations, and ensure that all guests dropped off and picked up by the same, appropriate parent or guardian. To secure the date and time of your party, MJDS will require a deposit of $100.00 at time of booking.
Our memorable dance parties are an excellent way to celebrate your child’s birthday!
STAR PARTY PACKAGE
Our STAR package is for those that want their child to feel like a star at their party! We cover the basics for you and make sure your party is full of fun, dancing, games and creating an experience that will have your child smiling from ear to ear!

- 2 Party hosts
- A 60-minute lesson of your choice
- Party set-up and clean-up

- Take-home party bag for each party guest
- Small Treat Table (with Covid-safe individually wrapped treats)

** The 2 hour party time is made up of 60 minutes dance class, 30 minutes food and cake and 30 minutes of disco, games, photos and fun!

WOW PARTY PACKAGE
Our WOW Package is for those that want to sit back and truly enjoy their child’s birthday party. There is nothing for you to do, except take all the credit with the guests’ parents of what an amazing party everyone had! There is that much WOW in this package that your guest won’t want to leave!

- Nothing! Unless you would like to provide a meal for your party-goers. There is a Subway and Dominos located within a few minutes of the studio for your convenience with this.

Memories Pack - $85
- Includes an additional party host to capture your party experience from start to finish so that you can sit back and embrace whilst we capture these moments.
- Your party guests will love walking the red carpet and having fun with our props!
- We’ll create a Party Video for you to look back on for years to come! You’ll be sent the downloadable video within 7 days filled with photos and videos from your party via email that you can share with your party guests and keep forever.

What to expect at a Birthday Party by MJDS?
- You and your party guests will be welcomed by your party hosts and welcomed to our party room upstairs. Your party hosts will be there from start to finish!
- All accompanying adults will be invited to sit and relax in our air-conditioned waiting room that joins our party room with viewing windows.
- Once settled in, you’ll be led to our PINK room ready for your chosen class with our experienced teachers.
- After 60 minutes of awesome fun shaking and grooving and tumbling and more, you’ll head back up to the party room where food, treats and cake awaits you!
- Once you’ve eaten a treat or two, you’ll head back downstairs ready to play games and dance in the disco room!
- Don’t worry parents, you’ll be able to watch all the fun from our viewing rooms, or if you prefer, you’re welcome to come observe classes’ pending numbers to ensure we stay within our covid safe policy.
- After 20 minutes of games and disco, you’ll be able to have photo time, either with your adults or with something special if you chose our Memories Package.
- A party’s not complete without a lolly bag to go (for our WOW package) and massive smiles from all, you and your guests will be raving about your party for months!
What are the Birthday Party by MJDS Terms and Conditions?
- A $100 deposit is required to secure your booking
- Full payment is due 48 hours prior to the party upon confirming your guest list and any optional add-ons.
- Maxi-Jazz Dance Studio only holds parties on Sundays on the 1st and 3rd weeks of the month. Our studio is closed on Public Holidays and parties may not be available on a long weekend.
- There is a minimum booking of 10 people per party
- With the current covid restrictions, we have a maximum of 20 party guests.
- Due to covid restrictions, there is a maximum of only 10 extra attendees per party (e.g. parents or guardians, including any non-party guest siblings). All guest are required to sign in attendance and follow our Covid safe policies
- Please note no additional food is permitted to be brought to the party unless it is for health reasons.
- Any special dietary requirements need to be advised to staff at least 7 days prior to the booking date.
REFUNDS and CANCELLATIONS
- Please ensure that our Party Packages are right for you prior to making a booking and paying the deposit as no refunds will be given for any of the following: customer dissatisfaction, misunderstanding, cancellation or any other reason(s).
- In the event that you can no longer come to a particular date or time and a deposit has been paid the booking can be postponed to another available date or time if written notification is provided within 14 days
- If you need to cancel a booking for a party, you will only receive a 25% refund of the total booking amount paid. If it is cancelled within 7 days of the booked party there is no refund.
What else do I need to know?
- Our parties are tailored for children between the ages of 3 – 15 years. Should you require a party for anyone ages 16 years and above, please reach out to us.
- Full-colour party invitations are included, as well as a downloadable file for ease and convenience.
- Our treat table is full of yummy lollies and chocolates, all wrapped individually for your party guests. Please let us know if you have any allergies or dietary requirements on your booking form
- Your party guests will need to complete an online waiver. This will be attached in an email 7 days prior to the party or can be found on our website.
- A Party Guestlist will need to be complete 7 days prior to the party.
- All plates, cups, serviettes, candles, cake knife etc provided for out WOW package
- Party hosts assist you from the start and finish of your booking time
- Once the disco and games session downstairs has completed, you have 10 minutes left in the party room after which Maxi-Jazz staff will start to clean up for the next booking.

What do I tell my party guests?
