The Show Must Go On
This is the story of a performing arts school… with heart with resilience with an unshakeable devotion to their students. Less than 5 weeks ago our families were told that face-to-face classes would be placed on hold for the time being. Presented with an immediate decision, the Maxi-Jazz Team decided to act swiftly to protect weekly classes for our students/families. 3 days later the MJDS Team released a brand new online experience including; A mixture of pre-recorded and LIVE classes Fun Fridays Live Connection Call Student and Family Challenges Prop Packs for ALL students Concert Choreography Videos And more… It was remarkable to say the very least. As the Director of Maxi-Jazz and an active member of the industry worldwide, I communicate with performing arts studio owners every day. The global aim of arts educators right now is to allow the ‘show to go on’ and to support our students receive the connection and education that brings light to their lives… with pride with courage with our community. I offer my heartfelt gratitude to the MJDS Team and our brilliant, ever-supportive families. Our plans are well laid…and we are only just getting started!
