DESCRIPTION:CONCERT RUN THROUGH VENUE: The Hunter Theatre (Hunter School Of Performing Arts)\, Cameron Street Broadmeadow \nStudents are to arrive at the specified times below: \nShowtime Team + Opening Students 4:15pm – 8:30pm \nTiny Twirlers 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm \nPetite Feet 4:30 pm – 8:00 pm \nAll other students 4:30 pm – 8:30 pm (Junior Jivers\, Tweens\, Youth\, Preteens\, Inters\, Seniors\, Adults\, Mighty’s\, Competition Teams) \nWhat to bring and remember? \n– This is a FULL DRESS Rehearsal held at the Hunter Theatre (where the concert will be). This rehearsal is to help familiarise students with the staging\, theatre space\, change rooms and use any props that cannot normally be used in class. This WILL be done in the running order for the concert. \n– You must arrive with your completed hair and make-up. ALL costumes are to be brought along with you. \n– This concert run-through is to ensure that all students are aware of costume changing times\, dressing room locations\, entry and exits\, the curtain closes and a few other technical things that will help our concerts run smoothly and ensuring a fun experience on the night. \n– As this is a concert run through\, all classes will be required for a longer amount of time so please come prepared. We have allowed a little extra time for unexpected delays however if we are running on time we will advise parents and students to be collected a little earlier than stated above. \n– Please note that all parent helpers that are chosen to be a helper at either concert will be required at this rehearsal. This is to ensure that all helpers required know the groups they are supervising and helping\, the concert running order for quick changes\, what dressing rooms you are assigned to and for students at concert time have a familiar face to make them feel more comfortable.

This rehearsal may include a practise in your\ncostumes if time permits. \n– You must arrive with your completed hair and make-up. ALL costumes are to be\nbrought along with you. \n– Please make sure you have something to cover your costume (Maxi-Jazz Jacket or a\ndressing gown or an MJDS Baseball jersey) do NOT walk around (especially outside) with just your costume on! \n– Due to a large number of students and photos\, our running time may be slightly\ndelayed\, despite all staff’s best effort to keep things moving as quickly as possible. SUMMARY:MJDS Concert - Morning
DESCRIPTION:All students are to arrive at 9:00am \nDoors will open at 9:30am \nThe concert will start at 10:00am \n  \n–  All students will arrive at the theatre dressed in their street clothes with their hair and make-up done\, at the time specified on the previous page. \n– Students and helpers will be signed in through the back entrance (near the car park).\n \n– Students and helpers will be directed to their assigned dressing rooms and Groups.\n \n– Students will have time once checked in to change into their costumes\, go to the toilet and do final make-up and hair touch-ups.\n \n– The concert will commence at the time specified on the previous page.\n \n– Intermission will commence halfway through the concert. No student or helper will be allowed to leave their dressing room during intermission so please ensure you pack enough water and food (nothing messy or that contains nuts or eggs) for dancers and helpers.\n \n– The concert will conclude approximately 3 hours after the commencement time.\n \n– Once each concert is finished students will go to the dressing room\, collect their things and be escorted to the back entrance by a teacher to be signed out to their families.\n \n– Please note that there is to be nothing left between the morning and night concert. Maxi-Jazz takes no responsibility for and cannot replace any items left behind or lost between the concerts. \n
