SUMMARY:Mid Year Showcase
DESCRIPTION:INTRODUCING OUR 2024 MID-YEAR SHOWCASE INFORMATION!  \nWho’s excited for an opportunity to perform in front of our family and friends? \nOur students thrive on being able to show their family and friends all the amazing new skills and techniques they’ve been working hard on in class all year. We have taken the opportunity to bring the experience to our families a little earlier than our annual concerts by introducing a mid-year showcase. \nThis is an opportunity for students to enjoy a fun and exciting performance with their dance peers. It provides a scaffold for new and existing performers to participate with the performance world without any added anxiety that may come with costumes\, stage hair or make-up and extra rehearsals. The showcase is being held in week 8\, Term 2 with students will be given the option to perform their first routines learnt in class. This routine will also be included in the end of year concert in full costume so students will be able to refine and progress on it during the remainder of the terms. \nAttached to this post is a document with all of the information you need in preparation for the showcase. \nOur 2024 Mid Year Showcase is on Saturday 22nd June at Glendale Technology High School\, and is split into 3 Showcases: \n**MINI SHOWCASE (Tiny Twirlers\, Petite Feet\, Junior Jivers) \nStudents Arrive: 9:00am \nDoors Open: 9:30am \nShowcase Starts: 10:00am (and will run for approx. 1.5 hours) \n**MOVER/MIGHTY SHOWCASE (Tweens\, Youth\, Preteen\, Inter\, Senior\, Adult) \nStudents Arrive: 12:30pm \nDoors Open: 1:00pm \nShowcase Starts: 1:30pm (and will run for approx. 1.5 hours) \n**ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM SHOWOFFS (ALL EP Cheer and Dance Teams) \nStudents Arrive: 4:30pm \nDoors Open 5:00pm \nShowcase Starts: 5:30pm (and will run for approx 1.5 hours) \nThis Mid-Year Showcase is for ALL our wonderful concert classes! We would love to see all of our beautiful students demonstrate their talents and new routines at our MJDS Showcase.
