SUMMARY:Dad's Dance Rehearsal
DESCRIPTION:2024 Dads’ DANCE! \nThis year we are so pleased to announce that MJDS will be having a Dads’ Dance at each of our Concerts. The Dads dance is a wonderful opportunity for Dads’ to spend quality time by sharing their Dancer’s love of dance in a special memorable performance. Dads will learn a number that they will perform at the Concert with their dancer on stage at the Jesmond Callaghan College Auditorium during one of the concerts either on Friday 22nd November or Saturday 23rd November. We have a limit of 10 dads and students per concert. \nThis year we will hold a separate rehearsal on Sunday 3rd November at the below times at the studio where a maximum of 10 dads & daughters per concert will learn their dance number for our upcoming concert\, our 37th Dance Explosion. Please note that you are also required for the concert day to be able to perform your dance. \nIf you would like to be apart of this opportunity\, all you need to do is pay a fee of $60 from our Additional Routine Trybooking link below which covers the rehearsal time\, food and refreshments\, choreography\, Custom T Shirt\, and a Google Drive with videos to watch and practice at home AND a copy of the performance filmed by the MJDS Team on the Concert Day. Please note when you purchase the ticket it will ask for your shirt size\, please provide this so we can arrange the custom T Shirt design to be done. SUMMARY:Concert Opening Rehearsal
DESCRIPTION:2024 Concert Opening Routine \nWe are so pleased to announce that the opening number at this years concerts is a fun upbeat Barbie routine choreographed by Miss Georgia. \n\nTo really make the impact we want for our opening performance we are inviting all Mighty Students (Ages 13+) to join the routine that will be opening both the Mini and the Mover/Mighty concerts. This means that your dancer will need to attend all 4 concerts if they choose to do this routine. This year we will hold a separate rehearsal on Saturday 2nd November from 1:00pm – 5:00pm\, at the studio where a maximum of 18 students will learn the Opening number for our upcoming concert\, our 37th Dance Explosion. \nWe welcome all Mighty students to join us on what will be such an amazing Opening number as Miss Georgia puts her expertise to practise and creates a spectacular routine. If you would like to be a part of this opportunity\, jump onto our additional routines Trybooking link and purchase an opening number ticket for $40. At the rehearsal students will receive a brief for costume requirements\, a google drive with routine resources and information about times for additional routines at the photo day/rehearsal etc. \nOnce your form and payment in full has been received\, your place will be secure and confirmation sent. Please note that we have a maximum of 18 spots available in this routine only. \nTicket sales will be open from Monday 14th October from 6pm.
