
Our Acro & Tumble Workshops are here!
These specialty sessions are designed to build strength, coordination and confidence while giving students the chance to learn and build on skills in a supportive, safe and exciting environment.
Whether they’re just starting out or ready to level up their acro journey, we’ve got a workshop to suit every age and ability. Each session focuses on technique, skill progressions and lots of positive encouragement!
⭐ 3:00–4:00pm – Little Acro
Ages 3–6yrs | A playful introduction to balances, rolls, strength and safe tumbling.
⭐ 4:00–5:00pm – Cartwheels & Handstands
Ages 7+ yrs| Beginner-friendly | Perfect for foundational shapes, strength and technique, and working on variations and progressions of foundational acro skills.
⭐ 5:00–6:00pm – Bridges & Walkovers
Ages 7+ | Beginner-friendly | Build flexibility, confidence and progressions that support the foundations of tumbling.
⭐ 6:00–7:00pm – Handsprings
Advanced level only – must have an independent walkover | Ideal for students ready to take the next step and work towards advanced tumbling skills and combinations.

Who can come to MJDS events? You don’t have to be a student here at MJDS to come and have some fun! We love welcoming new families to our events and we encourage our current students to bring their friends and siblings!
Do I need to stay during the event? No, our discos are ‘drop-and-go events! Our friendly staff will supervise all children to ensure they have a safe and fun experience. However, we do have waiting rooms and facilities, and parents/families are welcome to wait in our waiting areas if preferred.
What if the event is cancelled? In the case that MJDS has to cancel the event, full refunds will be provided to all ticket holders. All tickets holders will be contacted directly.
What should I bring? All ticket holders will be contacted via email a few days before the event with all the important details including what to bring, what to wear, doors open times and any other information regarding the specific event. If you have any questions at anytime you can contact our studio office!

What if my child cannot make it on the day? If your child is visibly sick or carrying a high temperature on the day of the class, please keep your child at home. Unfortunately we do not offer a refunds on tickets, but we do encourage you to sell your ticket to another family or friend that may be able to attend instead.
