Q: What is Dad’s Dance Week? A: Dad’s Dance Week is a wonderful opportunity for Dad’s and Fatherly figures to spend quality time by sharing their Dancer’s love of dance in a special memorable week of dance. Dad’s will learn, laugh and join in on the fun of their dancers class. Dad’s Dance Week is Monday, August 28th, 2023 – Saturday, September 2nd, 2023, where fatherly figures are able to join in and attend their student’s dance lessons!
Q: Who can participate in Dad’s Dance Week? A: The term “Dad” includes but is not limited to Dad, Step-dad, grandad, uncle or fatherly figure. Only 1 participant per dancer. You may bring a different Father role model if you have another class in the same week. Staying within social distancing guidelines of course. Example: Dad comes to Monday’s class and Uncle participates in Tuesday’s Class.
Q: I have 2 left feet and no rhythm at all. Can I still participate? A: You do not need to be experienced to dance with us. Your dancer will enjoy helping you. You will most likely share a giggle or two in the process.
Q: What is the cost to participate? A: There is no cost to participate in our Dad’s Dance week. We just love the chance to honour the important fathers of our dancer’s lives.
Q: What am I required to wear? A: All Dad’s will need comfy clothes they can move around in and joggers.
Q: What about Dance Mum’s?! A: Don’t worry Mum’s… We have a special surprise coming for you.
Q: Is this for all classes at Maxi-Jazz Dance Studio? A: We cannot wait to share our MJDS class experience with you all, however, our Enhancement Program teams are busily preparing for upcoming performances and competitions, so they will need their lessons to continue their focus and teamwork, so we ask that these classes remain closed as normal.
