We all have a favourite style, so why not come along and find out if you have a new favourite, or experience a new style you may not have known you liked. Our Dance Camp is tailored to a MINI (ages 3-6), MOVERS (ages 7-12) and MIGHTY (ages 13+) with age
suitable classes for a whole day!
Our 3-6 year olds will be learning styles including: Tumble Town, Hip Hop, Jazz, Ballet, Cheer, Tap and Little Monkeys. We understand our you
nger friends can get tired and this is why we will be down time between each class for our younger ones!
Our 7+ year olds will be learning styles including: Dance Cirque, Jazz, Lyrical/Contemp , Tap, Hip Hop & Pom, Ballet, Flexability, Acro and more!
When: Wednesday 19th Jan
Where: MJDS Cameron Park Studio
Time: 9am-5pm each day! Plus we have early drop off from 8:30am and late pick up until 5:30pm.
What to bring: Wear comfy dance appropriate attire, if you have dance shoes including joggers, jazz shoes, ballet shoes, foot thongs or tap shoes feel free to bring these. If you don’t have dance shoes, not to stress, come and get a feel of the styles to see what you love!
BYO Lunch and snack breaks for throughout the day plus a water bottle!
We know how popular our school holiday camps are, and have limited tickets available for our dance camp as each dance lesson has a capped number so are offering Early Bird discounted prices for dancers who register and grab a ticket before January 1st

What ages is this event suited for?
Suitable for kids 3-15 years
Who can attend the event, do I have to be an MJDS Student?
You don’t have to be a student here at MJDS to come and explore and have fun at our events! We love welcoming new kids to our events and we encourage our students to bring their friends and siblings.
How many staff will there be?
Our MJDS Team ratios are 1 team member for every 12 kids based on the 4-15 age group. Whilst our focus is on providing a safe environment and activities for all attendees, all MJDS Team Members have current Working With Children Checks and are First Aid, CPR and Infectious Disease Certified. Many of our staff are teachers and university students (studying teaching), and some have early childhood or education-related qualifications. They have good knowledge and experience working with children and are equipped to work and interact with children of all ages.
How many kids will be attending?
Our Event is limited to 30 kids due to COVID-19 policies and guidelines to allow for social distancing in all activities. All of our teachers are first aid trained and have active working with children checks.
What if the event is cancelled?
In the case that MJDS has to cancel the event, full refunds will be provided to all ticket holders. All tickets holders will be contacted directly.

What if my child cannot make the day?
If your child is visibly sick or experiencing any flu-like symptoms (fever, cough, runny nose) or you have been in close contact with a person diagnosed with COVID-19, keep your child at home! As we do not offer a refund on tickets we do encourage you to sell your ticket to another family or friend that may be able to attend in the child’s place.
Do Parents/Carers Stay during the event?
Our events are ‘drop and go’ events so that the adults can enjoy some much-needed adult time also. All our events are under the supervision of fully First- Aid and COVID Infection Control Certified staff and allow for students to continue to get to know their teachers, student assistants and peers.
